Artificial Intelligence in Wind Speed Forecasting: A Review

چکیده

Wind energy production has had accelerated growth in recent years, reaching an annual increase of 17% 2021. speed plays a crucial role the stability required for power grid operation. However, wind intermittency makes accurate forecasting complicated process. Implementing new technologies allowed development hybrid models and techniques, improving accuracy. Additionally, statistical artificial intelligence methods, especially neural networks, have been applied to enhance results. there is concern about identifying main factors influencing process providing basis estimation with network models. This paper reviews classifies used years according input model type, pre-processing post-processing technique, model, prediction horizon, steps ahead number, evaluation metric. The research results indicate that (ANN)-based can provide essential information specific location potential use plant by understanding future values.
